My name is Dirk van der Berg and I am based in Cape Town, South Africa. My interest in vintage radios started in 1988 when I obtained my first valve radio.I have always enjoyed electronics and the restoration and collecting of vintage radios went hand in hand with that interest. In 2008 I wrote the SA Amateur Radio exam and hold the call sign ZS1VDB. I have built up a large collection of vintage radios and would like to share my hobby  and experience with you.
